For teens, BY teens!

Our mission:

She’s THAT Girl is a unique mental health based female empowerment conference specifically for teen girls. Our mission is to create a safe space for teens to feel seen, heard, and validated while engaging in intentional conversations and workshops centering mental health and their lived experiences.

To extend our mission and impact, we provide holistic support to guardians and the whole family through a community resource vendor fair, cargeiver panel, and adult workshops that strengthen family engagement, access to mental health resources, and foster community healing.

She's THAT Girl encourages attendees to connect, learn, reflect, grow while being reminded that they are indeed THAT girl!

Our H(er)story

The She's THAT Girl experience was founded in 2019 within the public school system, where Quinandria Lee served as a School Counselor. Since its inception, the conference has been held annually for middle school girls, providing a space for empowerment, connection, and growth.

In 2024, the conference expanded to the Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina community, welcoming middle and high school girls from across the area. In which more than 80 teens participated in this community-centered event.

Each year, new elements are added based on the feedback, needs, and interests of past participants, ensuring that the experience remains youth-driven and responsive to the community it serves.

In 2026, the conference welcomed its first group of adult participants, who attended the full conference experience and engaged in adult-focused workshops and a restorative circle.

As the movement continues to grow, our vision is to bring the She's THAT Girl Conference and experience to communities across cities and states nationwide.
